Are you looking for a few ways so spread a little holiday cheer to those less fortunate this year? We’ve got a great list for anyone who has some extra love to spare this season.
Make a Monetary Donation
If you’re financially able but low on time, the best way for you to help those less fortunate this season is to make a monetary donation to the charity of your choice.
Volunteer Your Time
The holidays are all about giving what you can give. Many organizations would prefer a helping hand instead of a monetary donation. Consider volunteering your time at a local organization near you.
Be a Secret Santa
Consider giving a helping hand to a neighbor in need by dropping off a little gift on their front porch so that when they wake up in the morning there’s a little love from a Secret Santa.
Spread Some Cheer
Consider spreading some cheer by making a little extra room at your “table.” Bring the cheer to those in need by bringing hot meals to the homeless out on the street or sharing a handmade scarf.
Host an Event
Get together with a couple of local organizations, neighbors, schools, and anyone you can rally to plan an event for those less fortunate near you. A little community love goes a long way to bring holiday cheer.
